Thank you all so much for being patient with me, and for all the well wishes for My Cowboy. He’s home and resting now, and hopefully I can get back to quilting.
To that end, I’m gonna get this Quilt-Along started before someone throws another kink in my plan!
First, I know you wanna see the quilt, right? Well, here it is . . .
Hazel’s Summer Wildflowers
This quilt measures 61″ x 78″, and has pieced blocks alternated with embroidery blocks.
This is a terrible photo of it, but I’ll be back tomorrow with better ones and a LOT more information to get you started.
I was trying to think up a good name for the quilt, and My Cowboy suggested: “Hazel Ilene’s Veritable Rubicon of Wildflowers”. Can you tell he’s on bed rest? I told him that’s what I’d subtitle it. So feel free to call your quilt whatever you want once you get started.
Tomorrow, I’ll be back with lots better pictures, yardage information, and what you need to do to get started, AND some alternatives for those of you who might not like embroidery, or want something a bit simpler. So, never fear — anyone can do this, and I’ll be right here the entire time!
See you tomorrow!
I love the alternating embroidery blocks. I’ll see if I can get my sh** together and join you. But don’t count on it! LOL. I will give it a try though!!!
Love the colors–hmmm…I will have to think about this one.
