Well, it’s time for Block 11, even if I still don’t have my days straightened out — I thought today was Tuesday! My Cowboy just shakes his head . . .
After this we only have 4 more to make — we’re getting close to the end!
For Block 11, you’ll need:
- 8 units from your 1 1/2″ Finished baggie that are print with print
- 2 units from your 3″ Finished baggie that are print with print
- 2 strips from background fabric, 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″
- 2 strips from background fabric, 2 1/2″ x 10 1/2″
Lay all the half-square triangle units out as shown:
Join the smaller units into pairs, pressing seams to opposite sides:
Join the pairs together, pressing seams to one side.
Join these units to the larger half-square triangle units, pressing seams toward the larger units.
Join the two halves of this section together to complete it, pressing seam to either side.
Now lay this middle section out with the background strips.
Sew the 6 1/2″ strips to the sides, pressing seams toward the strips.
Sew the 10 1/2″ strips to the top and bottom, pressing seams towards the strips.
That completes your first Block 11!
