Monday again already?! Time certainly flies. Did you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day with your sweethearts?
Today is also a holiday, which means you won’t be getting any bills in the mail!
We’re making Block 13 today, getting oh-so-close to the end . . .
For Block 13, you’ll need:
- 4 units from your 4″ Finished baggie that are print with background
- 9 units from your 2″ Finished baggie that are print with print
Lay all these units out together as shown:
Sew the smaller units into pairs, as shown, pressing seams to one side:
Now sew these together with the rest of the units into rows. Press the seams in the top and bottom rows toward the outside, and the seams in the middle row toward the center.
Sew these rows together to complete the block!
For your second block, you can rearrange the units to get a different look if you want, even putting the background fabric toward the corners, if you wish.
I opted for making my second block like this:
And here they both are together:
Label these Block 13, and I’ll see you back here on Wednesday!
