We were having dress rehearsal for Jr. play tonite & the lights went out so we all went to Judy’s & had a party. Mom called & sed I could stay all nite. We sat around a lamp & told ghost stories. Eugene carried Judy & Dean S. carried me over a ditch of water when a bunch of us went to Melody Inn afterwards. Had fun. Judy & I got to bed at 12:00.

The lights must not have gone off at Melody Inn! How chivalrous of the boys to carry the girls over the ditches while they were on the way there.

I amazed they went. Melody Inn is over 3 miles from Judy’s house! And it’s February, so it can’t be too warm outside! I doubt kids would do something like that these days.
